Do you have one of those Embroidery machines that you tried once and have not used again? Well let's get that unit out of the closet and see what we can do. You will need to know a little about how your unit works. I am most familiar with the Pfaff machines, but I am willing to try. I have been working on the Vintage Tea Pots. Come and lets see what we can create together.

Join us for the Breakfast Club. We meet once a month, on the first Monday, for three months to work on a scrap quilt, play catch up, joke, laugh, munch on finger foods and the coffee pot is always on. First month we talk about fabric choices and block construction. Second month we will construct the quilt center and the third month we will add borders and finish. We start at 10:30 am and go till 1:30 pm. The charge is $35.00 for all three months. Quilt pattern is provided.

Learn the basic needleturn stitch for hand applique as well as marking techniques for pattern and a backgrounds. This is a technique class.

Using the boldest batiks and a bright floral or pattern - this quilt is truly a celebration of color. The large block is put together in sections making it quick and easy. The fun technique for the star is done with simple templates (and I mean simple). This quilt can easily be made larger or make a wonderful smaller Table Topper.

Quick and easy, small quilt projects designed around the seasons and holidays. Projects may include table runners, placemats, table mats or small seasonal wall hangings. Projects will include quilt as you go, strip piecing and applique'. Where applique' is used, fusible applique' will be demonstrated. Meets once a month on the third Friday of the month from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, or the fourth Monday of the month from 10:30am - 12:30pm. The charge is $10.00 per month, fabric and patterns not included.

This quilt is the most fun! Lovely colors and a special block made with strip piecing and sub-cutting. You will enjoy how simple this quilt is, but how dramatic it can be - a great beginner quilt!

Welll now is your chance to finish and get ahead of the game. Come and join me on our Embroidery days and let's get going on some of these projects. I will do my best to take care of all your Embroidery problems.

This is the first block for the 30's club or what ever fabric you would like to use. This block is know as 54- 40 or Fight. We are putting together a Traditional quilt with some of the original 30's patterns that got us all started quilting again. Use up some of your scrap fabric of your choice or use the 30's reproductions that are sew popular. We are going to make this an old fashion "Quilt Bee" and may even try a hand pieced block???? Sew come and join Janet; your pattern of choice is included in the class price.

Come and learn the easy way to machine quilt. My daughter calls it jiggle quilting. We know it as strippling or free motion quilting. We will cover the various forms of free motion quilting, and straight lines, known as cross hatching. This class is for the beginner and those of you who are afraid. Leave your fears at home and let's just have fun.

Ongoing Classes

Start a new project or bring an unfinished project to complete in class. You will need to bring your pattern, fabric and notions. Two sessions for $25.00

You will need a "learn-to-sew" type pattern such as pajama bottoms, pillow case, or tote bag. Cotton fabric in sufficient quantity to complete your project (NO knits, fleece or slinky/shiny fabrics). Be sure to pre-wash your fabric before class. Two Sessions for $25.00
